COLUMBIA SERTOMA CLUB WINS DISTRICT & REGIONAL AWARDS
Regional Convention Held in Gettysburg, PA

The Columbia Sertoma Club was awarded five prestigious awards at the recently held Regional Convention in Gettysburg, PA.Outgoing Chairman Todd Lewis and current Chairman Dee Moise accepted the awards on the clubs behalf.

The awards won included the District Sertoman of the Year, District and Regional Bulletin, and District and Regional Public Display.The Wade Hampton District is comprised of eleven (11) other Sertoma Clubs in the SC area.The Atlantic Coast Region is comprised of more than one hundred (100) clubs throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland and Georgia.

Chris Burnette, President of Columbia Sertoma, is proud the club continued its tradition of being competitive at the District and Regional level.“For the fifty-eight (58) years we’ve been in Columbia, our club has successfully competed for recognition at all levels throughout Sertoma International.Our hard working members are to be commended for their efforts again this year.We’ve proven once again we have an exceptional organization, and it’s one I’m proud to be a part of.”

The Columbia Sertoma Club has raised more than $4 million for local charities since it was started in 1950, including more than $3.3 million for the Carolina Children’s Home.
