Scott Webber, High Voltage Smokin Butts - Pit Master
Scott Webber was born and raised in LaPlace, Louisiana, just outside of New Orleans. The youngest child of Ann and Ralph Webber, a Southern Baptist Minister, Scott spent a great deal of his youth hanging on to his mother's apron strings in their south Louisiana kitchen observing and assisting her as she prepared meals not only for his family but also for the church and community.
Scott's cooking foundation is based on the Creole cuisine found in the rural areas of south Louisiana and most of his recipes are from old cook books put out by the various churches from that region, but, his favorites are the family recipes handed down to him by his mother from decades of entertaining large crowds of Cajun friends and family.

You are cruising down the road on US1 in rural SC and all of a sudden... it HITS you!!!! The smooth, sweet smell of BBQ. But where is it coming from? You just cannot keep going as it draws you with the Siren's call (if only the siren smelled this sweet!). You HAVE to turn around and go find it! Slowly you retrace your steps... it gets stronger... you smell it so close you look for smoke... it is so strong it must be a big place you are looking for... and then, off to the right, you are HERE! It is a hole in the wall (actually an overseas cargo container made into a BBQ place) with an aroma that melts your being. You are a victim, a very willing one, succumbing, as you step out of your car to taste the manna from the call of the Sirens of BBQ (hey, is that Deuce Staley, USC and Philadelphia Eagles football star I see in line?)
